Alyssa Scholl was born on July 31, 1995. She trained at Gymini Gymnastics in 2004. She then moved to Capital for one year. After moving to Arizona, Alyssa began training with Arizona Sunrays. She moved to Carter's after the 2008 season. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2004, Alyssa competed level five. She finished second on beam at Sectionals. She moved up to level six in 2005. She finished second on bars and in the all-around at the State Championships. Alyssa competed level seven in 2006. She placed fourth at the Hard Rock Invitational. She finished second on bars and the all-around at the State Championships. As a level eight in 2007, she placed second all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She won bars and the all-around at the Flagstaff Winter Classic. At the Manhattan Classic, she won beam and the all-around. Alyssa finished fifth at the State Championships. She won the all-around title at Regionals!
Alyssa moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished third at the Winter Sun Invitational and second at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She placed second on floor at the State Championships. Alyssa finished second on beam and 11th all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished 23rd all-around. She began competing level ten in 2009. She finished second on floor at the California Classic. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on floor. Alyssa placed sixth all-around at the JO National Invitational Tournament. She placed third on floor.
She continued competing level ten in 2010. She finished second at the CGA Coaches Spectacular and Mardi Gras Challenge. Alyssa won bars, beam and the all-around at the Chinese New Year celebration. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. She ended her season by placing in the top fifteen at Regionals.
