Amanda Schulberg was born on January 22, 1992. She trained at Gymcats during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.
In 2002, Amanda competed level seven. She moved up to level eight in 2003. She finished fifth all-around and second on beam at Regionals. In 2004, Amanda competed level nine. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on beam. She finished eighth all-around. At Westerns, she placed fourth on floor and 23rd all-around. Amanda continued competing level nine in 2005. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed eighth all-around. She finished third on floor and in the all-around at Westerns.
Amanda began competing level ten in 2006. She finished fourth all-around at the AOGC Invitational. At the Cactus Cooler Invitational, she placed second all-around. Amanda finished fifth at the State Championships and tenth at Regionals. She continued competing level ten in 2007. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam and the all-around. She finished 18th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2008, Amanda won five gold medals at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars, and the all-around. She finished first on bars and floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed fifth on bars, tenth on floor and seventh all-around.
In 2009, Amanda won the Vegas Cup. She won five gold medals at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and third all-around. She finished first on vault and seventh all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Amanda finished second all-around! She also placed fourth on vault, second on bars, and fifth on floor. In November, she signed with Oregon State. Amanda finished her club career in 2010. She won the all-around at the Vegas Cup. She won bars and beam at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. She did not compete in the championship season.
