Sofie Seichlnacht will graduate from high school in 2015. Her twin sister, Sylvie, is also a gymnast. Sofie trained at Bay Aerials through the summer of 2010. She then followed her coaches to California Gymnastics Academy.

In 2004, Sofie competed level four. She finished second all-around at the Mikhail's Navy 5 meet. She moved up to level five in 2005. She finished second all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. She won bars and floor. At the State Championships, Sofie won bars, floor and the all-around. She moved up to level six in 2006. She finished third all-around at the Tumble in the Jungle meet. Sofie placed second all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. At the Zone Championships, she won bars, beam and floor. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships.

Sofie moved up to level seven in 2008. She finished first on floor at the Roseville Invitational. She finished first on bars and the all-around at the Wine Country Classic. At the Battle in Seattle, Sofie won vault and placed second all-around. Sofie won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Golden State Classic. Sofie finished third on bars, first on beam, second on floor and third all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2009. At the Lady Luck Invitational, she finished fifth all-around. Sofie finished second all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won the all-around title at the Valentine Invitational. At the Spirit of the Flame Challenge, she won bars, beam and the all-around. Sofie won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on bars and the all-around.

She began competing level nine in 2010. She won bars at the San Diego Classic. She placed first on bars, beam and the all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She finished second on bars and floor at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, Sofie finished second all-around. Sofie finished first on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fifth on bars. She finished seventh all-around. Sofie continued competing level nine in 2011. She won floor at the Battle in Seattle. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the National Gymnastics Festival. Sylvie placed first on floor at the Vegas Cup.
