Elyse Shenberger was born on July 4, 1994. She trains at Artistic Sports Academy Plus. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2007, Elyse competed level eight. She finished third on bars at Regionals. She placed in the top ten all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished third on vault at the Buckeye Classic. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars and fourth all-around. She competed at Easterns. In 2009, she finished second on vault and bars at the Parkette Invitational. She won floor at the Pancott Invitational. At the Manhattan Classic, she won bars and the all-around. Elyse finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Easterns.

Elyse began competing level ten in 2010. She competed on bars at the State Championships. In 2011, she placed first on bars at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished third all-around at the Excalibur Cup. Elyse placed in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished sixth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals.
