Emma Sibson was born on June 26, 1995. She trained at WOGA until 2008. She then moved to Plano Unlimited, following her coach. Emma switched to Eagle Wings later that year. Following the 2009 season, she returned to Plano Unlimited which was re-named Golden Grip Gymnastics after her long-time coach bought the gym. After the 2010 level ten season, Emma returned to her old Eagle Wing coach at Zenith Elite Gymnastics.
In 2004, Emma competed level five. She placed first on vault, beam and in the all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. At the Judges Cup, she won beam, floor and the all-around. Emma won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Judges Cup. At the North State Championships, she won floor. Emma ended her season at the State Championships, placing second on bars and floor. In 2005, Emma competed level six in the spring season. She won vault at the WOGA Classic. She finished fourth on beam at the Excalibur Cup.
Emma competed level eight in 2006. She finished tenth at the WOGA Classic. She had a strong performance at the State Championships. She continued competing level eight in the beginning of the 2007 season. She finished second on bars at the WOGA Classic. She then moved up to level nine. Emma placed fifteenth at States and Regionals. In 2008, she competed level ten. She placed in the top twenty at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth on vault.
She continued competing level ten in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Texas Prime meet and third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She won vault at the California Classic and Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second all-around. Emma placed second on vault at Regionals. She finished in the top twenty all-around. Following the season, she tested elite compulsories. Emma had a great 2010 season. She finished second on vault at the Rose City Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault. Emma won vault and floor at Regionals. She placed fourth all-around, qualifying for JO Nationals where she won vault. A month later, Emma qualified to the Visa Championships at the Bieger Elite Qualifier. She competed at both the Covergirl Classic and Visa Championships.
In December of 2010, Emma traveled to Gatineau, QC for the Elite Canada where she placed eighth in the all-around, third on vault and fifth on floor exercise. She qualified to floor finals where she placed sixth. In February, she was named to the British Columbia gymnastics team where she helped the team to win the team silver medal at the Canada Winter games in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Individually, she won a bronze medal on vault. In March, Emma placed fourth on vault at the Houston National Invitational. Emma was injured prior to the Canada Championships in May but decided to compete and finished 21st in the all-around and second on vault.
