Laura Simeone was born on June 15, 1991. She trains at Kurt Thomas Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2002, Laura competed level eight. She finished third on bars at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2003. Laura continued competing level nine in 2004. In 2005, she moved up to level ten. Laura finished second on bars at the 2006 Kurt Thomas Invitational. She finished fourth on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed in the top ten all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. Laura finished fourth on bars at Regionals in 2007. In 2008, she finished seventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.

Laura continued competing level ten in 2009. She won bars and beam at the Texas Prime meet and Alamo Classic. At Regionals, she finished first on bars and beam. She placed second all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2010, Laura finished second all-around at the Cancun Classic. She finished third all-around at the Texas Prime meet. Laura won beam at the Houston National Invitational. She won bars at the State Championships. She had a strong performance at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed seventh on bars.
