Ruthanne Simon was born on January 8, 1994. Ruthanne has trained under Debbie Kaitschuck for the last several years, under Texans before moving to Stars Gymnastics in the summer of 2010. Ruthanne will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Ruthanne competed for Team Texas at the National Judges Cup. She then moved up to level eight. She won floor and the all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. Ruthanne finished in the top fifteen at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2007. She finished second on floor at Regionals. She finished eleventh all-around at Westerns. Ruthanne began competing level ten in 2008. She won beam at the City of Lights Invitational. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed sixth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals.

Ruthanne continued competing level ten in 2009. She won floor and the all-around at the Palm Beach Invitational. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. Ruthanne finished eighth all-around at Regionals. She placed fifth all-around at the JO National Invitational Tournament. In 2010, Ruthanne finished seventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
