McKenna Singley was born on March 1, 1997. She trained at USA Gymnastics World through the 2009 season. She then moved to Olympus School of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2005, McKenna competed level six. She won bars and the all-around at the Rode Round Up. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She finished second on floor at the Crystal Cup. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She competed one level eight meet before moving up to level nine in 2007. She won beam at the Buckeye Classic. At the Golden State Friendship Challenge, she finished third all-around. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. McKenna finished in the top twenty all-around at Regionals. In 2008, she won all five gold medals at the State Championships. In 2009, McKenna finished first on vault and second all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the Crystal Cup. At the Bear Country Invitational, she won bars and the all-around. She won beam at the State Championships. McKenna finished first all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.

McKenna began competing level ten in 2010. She finished first on beam at the Vegas Cup. She won beam and placed second all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2011, McKenna finished fourth all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed second on beam at the Crystal Cup. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and second all-around. She finished ninth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed second on bars, fourth on beam and sixth all-around.
