Samantha Pearsall was born on November 20, 1993. Her older sister, Madison, also competed in gymnastics. Samantha trains at Illinois Gymnastics Institute. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2003, Samantha competed level six. She continued competing level six in 2004. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. Samantha moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished in the top ten at Regionals. In 2006, Samantha placed third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She competed at Regionals. Samantha moved up to level nine in 2007. She finished third on vault at the Flips USA Invitational. She finished seventh on vault, eighth on bars and eighth all-around at Easterns.

Samantha began competing level ten in 2008. She placed third on bars at the Bravo Classic. She finished first on bars and third all-around at the Gasparilla Classic. At the Flip'r meet, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She competed on bars only for most of the 2009 season. She placed second on bars at the Arena Classic. In 2010, she finished first on bars at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She placed second on bars at the King Arthur Invitational and third on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed first on bars at the Arena Classic. At the State Championships, she finished third on beam. At Regionals, she won bars. At JO Nationals, she placed seventh on bars. In 2011, Madison finished first on beam and third all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She won beam at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Classic Rock Invitational, she placed second on beam. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Elgin Invite. At the State Championships, she placed second on beam. At Regionals, she finished third on bars, second on beam and fourth all-around. At JO Nationals, she placed seventh on bars, first on beam and sixth all-around!
