Brannon Springer was born on December 8, 1991. She attends Fort Wayne Concordia High School. She trains at Set-10 at More Than Gymnastics for club. She began gymnastics at Classic City Gymnastics because her mom coached there.

In 2005, Brannon competed as a level eight. At the State Championships, she qualified to Regionals. Brannon moved up to level nine in 2006. She competed at the IGI Chicago Style and Circle of the Stars meets. She moved up to level ten in 2007. She finished sixth all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the Indiana State Championships, Brannon placed third on bars and qualified to Regionals.

She also competed in high school. She won bars at the State Championships. At High School Regionals, Brannon placed second on floor. She won beam and finished second all-around at Sections. In 2009, as a junior, she finished second all-around at High School Regionals. She qualified to the State Meet.
