Stephanie Sander was born on April 15, 1993. She trains at Nebraska Twisters. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2006, Stephanie competed level eight. She finished third on vault at Regionals. Stephanie began the 2007 season as a level eight. She won the all-around title at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She then moved up to level nine. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. Stephanie competed at Westerns. In 2008, she finished second on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. Stephanie finished 17th all-around at Westerns. She won bars!

Stephanie continued competing level nine in 2009. She finished third all-around and first on floor at the Chow's Rising Stars Challenge. At Regionals, she finished first on bars and the all-around! Stephanie placed third on bars and fifth all-around at Westerns. She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished in the top ten all-around at the Denver Winterfest and New Year Invitational. At the Kansas City Coed Classic, she placed second all-around. Stephanie finished ninth all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
