Sylvie Seichlnacht will graduate from high school in 2015. Her twin sister, Sophie, is also a gymnast. Sylvie trained at Bay Aerials through the summer of 2010. She then followed her coaches to California Gymnastics Academy.
In 2004, Sylvie competed level four. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Mikhail's Navy 5 meet. She moved up to level five in 2005. She finished second all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. At the State Championships, Sylvie finished third on beam, second on floor and fourth all-around. She moved up to level six in 2006. She finished first on beam at the Tumble in the Jungle meet. Sylvie finished second all-around at the Aloha Invitational. At the Zone Championships, she finished fourth all-around. Sylvie finished first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships.
Sylvie moved up to level seven in 2008. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the Roseville Invitational. She finished second all-around at the Wine Country Classic. At the Battle in Seattle, Sylvie finished third all-around. Sylvie finished first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2009. She won beam at the Delta Classic. At the Lady Luck Invitational, she finished third all-around. Sylvie won beam at both the San Diego Classic and Valentine Invitational. At the Spirit of the Flame Challenge, she won vault and floor. Sylvie finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third all-around.
She began competing level nine in 2010. She won bars and floor at the Red Heart 10.0 Invitational. At the Lady Luck Invitational, Sylvie finished second all-around. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. At the Golden State Classic, Sylvie finished first on beam, floor and the all-around. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she won beam and floor. Sylvie won beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed first on beam! She finished tenth all-around. Sylvie continued competing level nine in 2011. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She finished second all-around at the National Gymnastics Festival. Sylvie placed first on vault, beam and the all-around at the Vegas Cup.
