Kassidy Taylor Stauder was born on September 4, 1992 on September 4, 1992. She began gymnastics in 2000 at the age of eight at Parkettes. In the spring of 2006, she switched to First Class Gymnastics. Kassidy moved to Lehigh Valley in the summer. Shortly before championship season in 2008, her coach, Natalia Yurchenko, left Lehigh. Kassidy moved to Girls Co-Op. She returned to LVSA in 2010.

Kassidy began competing in 2001 as a level five. She finished third all-around at the Anthracite Classic. At the Fall State Championships, Kassidy placed second on vault. She repeated level five in the spring of 2002. She won floor and vault at the Parkette Invite. She finished first on vault at the Hugs and Kisses Invite and first on bars at the Friendship Classic. At the Spring Sectional Championships, she finished fourth all-around. Kassidy finished her level five season by placing second all-around at States! She competed at three level six meets before level 7 in the fall of 2002. She placed first all-around at the Wintertime Brandywine. At the 2003 Parkette Invite, her first level seven meet, she placed first on floor and third all-around. At the East Sectionals, she placed second on bars! At the level seven state championships, Kassidy placed fourth on floor.

In late 2003 she competed as a level eight. She won the all-around title at the Rutgers Classic. In her first 2004 meet, The Maryland Classic, she won the all-around title. Kassidy finished second all-around at the Parkette Invite. She jumped up to first at Sectionals and State Meet! Kassidy was named to the Pennsylvania State team. Unfortunately, she fell on beam at Regionals. She moved up to level nine the next season. She placed second all-around at the Greater NY Invitational, third at the WOGA Classic and first at the Parkette Invitational. A foot injury prohibited her from competing at States. In 2006, Kassidy began training in the elite group at Parkettes. She was having a tough time in the gym. Shortly before States, she switched to First Class. Kassidy finished out her season with them. Because they were a new gym, they could not give her enough hours so she moved to Lehigh Valley.

Kassidy placed second all-around at the 2006 Commonwealth Cup. She won bars. At the Yurchenko Invitational, she won the floor and all-around titles! Kassidy placed second all-around at the 2007 WOGA Classic. She won the Scarlet Cup. She finished second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, Kassidy placed seventh all-around! She qualified for the JO National Championships. She continued competing as a level ten in 2008. She finished third on beam at Regionals. She also finished fourth all-around, qualifying for her second JO National Championships. In December, she won bars at the Christmas City Classic. Kassidy accepted a scholarship to Penn State in January of 2009!

She had a successful 2009 season. She began by winning bars and finishing second all-around at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. At the Maryland Classic, she finished third all-around. She placed second on vault and bars. She won bars again at the Manhattan Classic. She had a rough meet at States but still qualified for Regionals. She finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She won uneven bars. She also placed second on floor. Kassidy ended her season at JO Nationals.
