Bailey Steffen was born on October 10, 1995. She trains at The Athletic Edge in Oregon. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2006, Bailey competed level seven. She finished fourth on vault at the Flips USA Invitational. She placed first on floor and third all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. Bailey moved up to level eight in 2007. She finished in the top twenty all-around at Regionals. In 2008, Bailey finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. She placed twelfth all-around at Regionals. Bailey began competing level nine in 2009. She won floor at the Great West Gym Fest. Bailey placed second all-around at the Rose City Challenge. She finished third on floor at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed second on beam and fifth all-around. Bailey finished second on beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
Bailey continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished second on bars and beam at the Battle in Seattle. At the Rose City Challenge, Bailey placed second on bars. Bailey finished sixth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed second on beam. Bailey began competing level ten in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She also placed third all-around at the Rose City Challenge. Bailey placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished third all-around at Regionals. Bailey competed at JO Nationals.
