Desire Stephens was born on May 1, 1993. She trains at Nebraska Gold Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2005, Desire competed level eight. She finished sixth on beam at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished fifth all-around at the San Diego Classic. In 2007, she finished third all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns. Desire competed level ten in 2009. She placed third on beam at the Cactus Cooler meet. SHe finished third on vault and beam at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.

Desire finished first on vault and bars at the 2010 Rising Stars Invitational. She finished third on beam at the Wine Country Classic. Desire placed second on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. She won beam at the Harley Invitational. Desire finished tenth all-around at Regionals.
