Kathryn Stuart was born on September 29, 1996. She trained at Metro Gymnastics in Oregon until the summer of 2008. She then moved to Sunburst Gymnastics Center for one year. After moving to Georgia, Kathryn began training at Ultimate Gymnastics. Kathryn will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2006, Kathryn competed level five. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She moved up to level seven in 2007. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. In 2008, she won beam and floor at the Emerald Team Challenge. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2009. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Hardrock Invitational, she won bars. She won floor at the Great West Gym Fest. She finished second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on floor.
Kathryn began competing level nine in 2010. She finished in the top ten at the Flip Fest Invitational and Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed third on beam at the Smokey Mountain Vacation Classic. At the Spring Break Out meet, she finished third on vault. She placed third on bars and beam at the State Championships. She finished twelfth all-around at Regionals. In 2011, Kathryn placed first all-around at the Flip Fest Invitational. She won bars at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. Kathryn won all five gold medals at the Atlanta Centennial Classic. She placed first on bars and floor at the Excalibur Cup. She finished second all-around at the Spring Break Out meet. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and second all-around. She finished in the top ten at Regionals.
