Gabrielle Swart was born on May 18, 1992 in Abington, Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. She has one sister, Samantha, who used to participate in gymnastics. Gabby trained at Spirit Gymnastics until 2003. She then switched to Ricochets where she competed for in 2003. In 2004, Gabby began training at Parkettes. She trained briefly at Brestyan's in the fall of 2007 before moving back to Parkettes. She moved to Will-Moor in the fall of 2008. Gabby returned to Parkettes in 2009.
In 2001, she competed as a level six. At the State Championships, she won the all-around title. Gabby moved up to level eight in 2002. At the State Championships, she placed fourth on vault. Gabby qualified to Regionals. In 2003, she competed as a level nine at States and Regionals. With Parkettes in 2004, she competed as a level ten. She finished fourth all-around at the WOGA Classic. She won vault at the Parkette Invite. Gabby placed in the top ten at the State Championships. Her final meet of the season was the Level 10 Regional Championships!
Gabrielle continued to compete as a level ten in 2005. She won the Friendship Classic competition. At the State Championships, Gabby placed second on beam. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. This qualified her for the JO National Championships. Gabby ended her season at that meet. In the winter of 2005, she won the all-around title at the Greater NY Invite. Throughout the 2006 season, she attended several training camps at the National Team Training Center. Gabby also competed as a level ten in 2006. She finished second all-around at the Pancott Invitational. At the Parkette Invitational, she placed second all-around. Gabby won the level ten state all-around, bars and floor title! At Regionals, she won the same three events. At the JO National Championships, Gabby placed in the top ten on uneven bars. In the summer, she qualified to junior international elite. She competed at the US Classic in Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2007, Gabby again qualified to junior international elite. At the US Classic in Battle Creek, Michigan, she qualified for her first US National Championships. In the fall she moved to Brestyan's Gymnastics. Gabby returned to Parkettes in early 2008. She won the Fiesta Bowl which is a level ten meet in Arizona. She also finished fourth all-around at the Sweden Invitational. In the fall of 2008, Gabby committed to Louisiana State University. She will graduate high school in 2010. In November, she finished fourth on vault and beam at the Rutgers Classic. She narrowly missed making senior international elite at the July National Qualifier. After the fall semester in 2010, she transferred to Maryland.
