Jenna Swartzentruber was born on December 20, 1999. She trains at Buckeye Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2018.

In 2007, Jenna competed level five. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the State Championships, she swept the gold medals. Jenna earned a spot on the Diamond National TOPs Team in the fall. She competed level seven in 2008. She won bars and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She placed third all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. Jenna won beam and the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She made the National TOPs Team.

Jenna moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished fourth all-around at the CGA Coaches Spectacular and sixth all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She won a silver medal on beam at the Buckeye Classic. Jenna won beam at the Arena Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars and beam. Jenna placed second on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals.

In 2010, Jenna competed level nine and hopes. She finished second all-around at both the Universal Galaxy Invitational and CGA Coaches Spectacular. Jenna placed second all-around in the hopes division at both the Metroplex Challenge and Buckeye Classic. As a level nine, Jenna won the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the Arnold Challenge, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. She placed second all-around at State. She won bars and beam. At Regionals, Jenna won beam, floor and the all-around. She won beam at Easterns. She finished second on floor and in the all-around.
