Sekai Wright will graduate from high school in 2018. She trains at AGA in Long Beach, California.

In 2006, Sekai competed level four. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in the fall of 2007. She continued competing level five in 2008. She finished first on bars, floor and the all-around at the Butterfly Classic. At the 3rd Prelim, she won beam, floor and the all-around. Sekai won vault at West Sectionals. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. Sekai competed level six in the fall of 2009. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Judges Cup. She finished second all-around at both the 1st Prelim and OC Challenge. At the 3rd Prelim, she won vault and floor. Sekai finished third all-around at West Sectionals. She won beam and placed second all-around at the State Championships.

Three months after competing level six, Sekai competed level eight at the 2010 Long Beach Open. She placed second on floor. She finished third on vault and beam at the Malibu Coast Challenge. She finished second on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on vault and second on floor. Sekai competed level nine in 2011. She finished second on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed third on beam and floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the Heart of a Champion meet, she finished second on floor. She won floor at the Malibu Coast Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault. Sekai won floor at Regionals.
