Dalia Syrek was born on July 6, 2000. She trained at Gym Elite through the 2008 season. She then moved to Auburn Gymnastics Center. Dalia began training at WOGA in the fall of 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2018.

In 2007, Dalia competed level four. She moved up to level six in 2008. In 2009, Dalia competed level seven. She finished second on bars at the MAC Open. She won the all-around title at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam. Dalia finished in the top ten all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2010. She finished first on bars and the all-around at the National Judges Cup. At the All American Invitational, she won bars. Dalia finished first on vault and the all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. Dalia placed first on vault and the all-around at Regionals.

Dalia continued competing level eight in 2011. She won the all-around title at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed third on bars at the WOGA Classic.
