Diana Tatevossian was born on January 15, 1999. Her older sister, Donna, is also a gymnast. Diana trained at Golden State Gymnastics through the 2006 season. She then moved to All Olympia. She began training at Wallers' GymJam in the fall of 2010. Diana will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2005, Diana competed level four. She placed third on bars at the 1st Prelim meet. She finished second on floor at the 3rd Prelim. At the North Sectional meet, she placed third all-around. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. In 2006, Diana finished first all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won floor at the Vegas Vacation meet. She began competing level six in 2007. She finished third all-around at the Judges Cup. She won all five gold medals at West Sectionals. At the State Championships, she placed second on floor. Diana made the National TOPs Diamond Team.

Diana immediately began competing level seven in 2008. She finished second on beam at the Fiesta Bowl invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam, floor and the all-around. In the fall, she made the National TOPs Team. Diana competed level eight in 2009. She finished fourth all-around at the Surf City Classic. She won floor and the all-around at Regionals. She competed level nine in 2010. Diana finished first on beam at the Wine Country Classic. She won beam and floor at the AOGC Invitational. At the Long Beach Open, she won beam. Diana qualified to Regionals but did not compete. She did not compete in 2011.
