Karlee Teet was born on April 24, 1994. She trained at Peak Athletics Plus through the 2007 season. She then moved to Colorado Gymnastics Institute. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Karlee competed level eight. She placed fifth all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor. She finished fourth on floor at Regionals. Karlee competed level nine in 2007. She finished third on beam and floor at the State Championships. She moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished third on beam at the Battle in Seattle. She finished fourth all-around at the Alamo Classic. She won bars and the all-around at the Golden State Classic. Karlee placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals.

Karlee placed first on bars and beam at the 2010 Denver Winterfest. She placed third on bars at the AOGC Invitational and second on bars at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Manhattan Classic, she finished third all-around. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on beam. In 2011, Karlee finished fifth all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. She placed second on floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Denver Winterfest, she placed fourth on bars. Karlee finished third on floor at the State Championships. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.
