Taylor Hill was born on August 19, 1994. Taylor trained at Mile High Gymnastics until the summer of 2004. She then moved to Arizona Sunrays. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2003, Taylor competed level four. She finished first on beam and third all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2004. She won floor at the Spring State Championships. She competed level six in the fall. She finished third on floor at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. She placed second on floor at the PGA Invitational. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2005, Taylor finished second all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won floor and the all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She finished first on vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships.

Taylor moved up to level eight in 2007. She won beam and floor at the Hard Rock Invitational. She finished first on beam at the Long Beach Open. At the Flagstaff Winter Classic, she won beam and floor. Taylor placed first on beam and third all-around at the State Championships. She finished third on beam at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2008. Sge won beam at the Winter Sun Invitational and vault at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the State Championships, she won beam and floor. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, Taylor finished first all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational, Sun Devil Classic and Golden State Classic. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won the all-around title. Taylor competed at Westerns.

She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished first on bars and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed eighth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, Taylor won bars. In 2011, she won beam at the National Judges Cup. She placed first on beam at the Classic Rock Invitational. At the State Championships, she won bars. Taylor finished ninth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, Taylor placed first on beam, third on bars and fifth all-around.
