Taylor Hinton was born on June 6, 1996. She trains at Twin City Twisters. Taylor will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2006, Taylor competed level seven. She finished in the top ten at the IGI Chicago Style. Taylor continued competing level seven in 2007. She finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Taylor moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished first on bars, floor and the all-around at the Gopher Women's Invitational. At the State Championships, she qualified for Minnesota's State Team for Regionals. At Regionals, she finished in the top twenty all-around. She placed third on floor.

Taylor competed level nine in 2009. She finished fourth all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. She won a bronze medal on bars at the Byers Invitational. Taylor just missed the top ten all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed fifth all-around. Taylor finished 14th all-around at Westerns. She missed the 2010 season due to injury. In 2011, Taylor won vault and bars at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished second on bars at the Northern Lights Classic. At the State Championships, Taylor placed first on bars, second on beam and third all-around. She finished first on bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished first on bars! She also placed tenth on beam and ninth all-around.
