Tiffany Louie was born in San Mateo, California on September 23, 1988. She graduated from Carlmont High School in 2006. Tiffany competed for San Mateo Gymnastics under Erica Meitz during her club career. She is now a freshman at San Jose State.

In 2002, Tiffany competed as a level nine. At the 2003 Level 9 State Championships, she won vault. She finished fifth all-around. At Regionals, Tiffany placed second on vault. She competed as a level nine in 2004. She moved up to level ten in 2005. At the 2006 Level 10 State Championships, Tiffany placed fifth all-around and third on beam. At Regionals, she placed in the top seven all-around. This qualified her for the JO National Championships. Tiffany placed in the top twenty.

Tiffany began competing for San Jose State in 2007. She competed on vault, bars and floor as a freshman. She led the team on bars against Illinois-Chicago. She competed in the all-around against Cal State Fullerton. As a sophomore, she competed on floor in seven meets. She won the UC Davis quad meet. She also competed on bars in the first meet of the season. During her junior season, Tiffany competed on floor twice and bars nine times.
