Hannah Toussaint was born on March 26, 1992. She currently resides in Youngstown, Ohio. She is coached by her parents, Dawn and Gary. Hannah began gymnastics in 1993. She currently trains at Olympic Dreams. She was a 2000 TOP Diamond Team Member. Hannah qualified to National Top Testing in 2001. She was a National TOP Team Member in 2002 and 2003. In 2002 and 2003, Hannah competed as a TOPS Elite at the US Challenge.
In 2003, Hannah competed as a level nine. She was the alternate for Easterns. She moved up to level ten in 2004. Hannah placed third on beam and second on floor at Regionals. She also placed in the top seven all-around which qualified her for the JO National Championships. She placed in the top twenty with a sixth place finish on floor! Hannah competed at the US Challenge as a child pre-elite after the level ten season. She finished second on vault and beam. She was third in the all-around. Hannah participated in the Region 5 All Star trip to Beijing, China.
Hannah competed as a level ten again in 2005. She won the Buckeye Classic and finished third all-around at the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge. At Regionals, Hannah qualified to her second JO Nationals. After a disastrous bar routine, Hannah placed sixth on beam. She did get a skill named after her. She competed at the US Challenge as a junior pre-elite. Hannah went to the Flor De Izote meet in El Salvador with the Region 5 All Star Team. She won floor and finished second on vault. Hannah qualified to junior international elite in 2006. She competed at the US Classic and US National Championships. In 2007, she competed junior international elite at the US Classic.
In 2008, Hannah returned to level ten. Hannah won the Coaches Spectacular. She finished third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, Hannah won the all-around title. She won bronze medals on vault and bars. She finished third at the JO National Championships! This qualified her to the JO National Team. She committed to the University of Alabama in the fall. She will begin school there in the fall of 2010. She did not compete all-around during most of the 2009 season. She won a bronze medal on beam at Regionals.
