Tiara Phipps was born on August 11, 1994. She trained at Brown's San Antonio through the 2006 season. She then moved to USA Aerial Athletics. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Tiara competed level seven. She finished second on vault at the Svetlana Invitational. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She won bars at the Statewide Qualifier. Tiara began competing level nine in 2008. She finished third on bars and sixth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed sixth on vault. She finished 21st all-around. In 2009, Tiara won vault and floor at the Alamo Classic. She finished third all-around at Regionals, winning the uneven bars title. At Westerns, she placed second on vault and floor. She finished sixth on bars and seventh all-around.

She continued competing level nine in 2010. Tiara won all five gold medals at the Ricky Deci Invitational. She finished third all-around at the Texas Prime meet. She won vault, bars, and floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Tiara won floor at the WOGA Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars, floor and the all-around. She won vault, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she won vault and floor! She also placed third on bars and second all-around. She moved up to level ten in 2011. Tiara finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Alamo Classic. She competed in the Fiesta Jam Final session winning floor. At the State Championships, she placed second on beam, floor and the all-around. Tiara finished third all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished 24th all-around.
