Megan Tripp was born on May 21, 1998. She trains at WOGA. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2005, Megan began competing as a level four. She finished fourth all-around at the District Championships. She moved up to level five in 2006. She finished third all-around at the District Championships. She won floor. At the North State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around in the gold division. Megan competed level six in 2007. She finished fourth all-around and second on bars at States.

Megan moved up to level seven for the 2008 season. She placed fourth all-around at the WOGA Classic. At States, she won a bronze medal on floor. Megan competed level eight in 2009. At the Metroplex Challenge, she won bars with a 9.9. She then finished fourth all-around at the Great West Gym Fest. She won bars in the Big Show Event Finals. Megan won bars, floor and the all-around at the Rose City Classic. At States, she finished second on bars and fourth all-around. She finished in the top ten on bars at Regionals.

In 2010, Megan competed level nine. She won bars and the all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. At the WOGA Classic she won floor. She placed second all-around and first on bars and floor at the Pikes Peak Cup. Megan placed third all-around at the Houston National Invitational. At States, she placed second all-around. She won a bronze medal on vault at Westerns. She finished second on bars and in the all-around.
