Heather Udowitch was born on February 3, 1998. She began competing for WOGA in 2004. She moved to Eagle Wing's Athletics in 2007. She followed her coaches to Zenith Elite Gymnastics following the 2009 season. In April of 2010, Heather began training at Texas Dreams. She returned to Zenith Elite in the spring of 2011.

In 2004, she competed level four. Heather finished second on bars at the 2005 WOGA Classic. She moved up to level five for the fall season. Heather placed fourth on vault at the Level 5 District Championships. She qualified for States in the silver division, where she won a bronze medal on bars. She competed level six in 2006. Heather finished third all-around and first on beam at the Rising Stars Invitational. She finished third again at the Judges Cup. Heather won a silver on beam at the District Championships.

Heather did not compete in 2007. However, she did make the National TOPs Team in the fall. She returned in 2008 as a level seven. She won beam at the National Judges Cup, also taking third all-around. At the AOGC Invitational, Heather swept the gold medals. She finished fourth all-around at the North State Championships. She made the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall. She moved up to level eight for the 2009 season. She scored a perfect 10 on bars at the Metroplex Challenge. Heather finished fourth all-around at the Texas Prime meet. She placed third at the California Classic. Heather won bars and placed third at the Rose City Classic. She scored a 39.00 all-around at the Friends of Achievers meet. She finished sixth all-around at States, qualifying for Regionals. She ended her season by placing tenth at Regionals out of more then 50 competitors. Heather made her second National TOPs "B" Team in the fall.

In 2010, Heather competed level nine. She won beam and floor at the Texas Prime Meet. At the Metroplex Challenge, she finished fourth on floor. Heather won floor at the WOGA Classic. She did not compete the rest of the season. In 2011, she finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational.
