Chloe Van Tussenbroek was born on October 12, 1992. She trained at Olympus School of Gymnastics through the 2009 season. She then moved to Black Diamond Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2003, Chloe competed level nine. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. Chloe finished fourth all-around at the 2004 Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She won the all-around title at the State Championships. At Regionals, she also won the all-around title. Chloe finished 26th all-around and tenth on floor at the Level 9 Western Championships. In 2005, Chloe finished second all-around at the California Classic. She won bars at the Shamrock Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. Chloe competed at Regionals.
She moved up to level ten in 2006. She won floor at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Chloe placed in the top twenty at Regionals. In 2007, Chloe finished third all-around at both the Lady Luck Invitational and Crystal Cup. She won beam at the Hard Rock Invitational. Chloe finished first on beam and floor at the State Championships. She placed third on floor at Regionals. After not competing in 2008, Chloe had a strong 2009 season. She finished second on bars at the California Classic and second on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed sixth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2010, Chloe did not compete in the all-around at Regionals.
