Andie VanVoorhis was born on October 20, 1995. She trains at Universal Gymnasts in Ohio. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2005, Andie competed level five. She finished third all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She moved up to level six in 2006. In 2007, Andie competed level seven. As a level eight in 2008, Andie won the all-around title at the Queen City Classic. She won beam at the Arena Classic. At the State Championships, Andie won floor and the all-around. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, Andie competed level nine. She won floor at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. Andie finished fourth all-around at the Surf City Classic. She placed second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At Regionals, she finished second on beam and fifth all-around. Andie placed fifth on beam at Easterns.
Andie continued competing level nine in 2010. She placed third on vault at the Lady Luck Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the TOPs Super Challenge. At the For Love or Money meet, she placed third on bars. Andie finished third all-around at the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge. She won beam at the Universal Galaxy meet. At the State Championships, she won vault and bars. She placed second all-around. Andie placed third on bars at Regionals. Andie began competing level ten in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Universal Galaxy meet. Andie finished in the top three all-around at the Athlete Warrior meet. At the Buckeye Classic, she won beam. She finished third all-around at the Girl Power Invitational. Andie finished in the top ten all-around at the State Championships. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed in the top ten all-around.
