Victoria Vaughn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 31, 1993. She began gymnastics after her family moved back to Oklahoma from Texas. She began at Dynamo Gymnastics with Deana Martinez. After her coaches left, Victoria moved to Mat Trotters Gymnastics. In 2005, she returned to Dynamo when her old coach returned. Her father was a major league baseball player.

In 2001, she competed as a level five. At the State Championships, she won the vault and beam titles. She finished second all-around. By 2002, she was competing as a level seven. Victoria placed first on vault and second in the all-around at States. In the fall, she made the National TOP Team. She moved up to level eight in 2003. At States, she won bars. Victoria also placed well at Regionals. She made her second National TOP Team that fall. In 2004, Victoria began competing as a level nine. She placed first on beam at States and second in the all-around. She then competed at Regionals. Victoria also competed as a TOPS Elite. She finished second at the American Challenge. This qualified her as a National Pre-Elite Training Team Member.

Unfortunately, Victoria had to sit out the 2005 season with a foot injury. She had to have surgery. In 2006, she came roaring back as a level nine. Victoria placed first all-around at the Diamond Jewel invite and Conoco Phillips meet. At States, she finished second all-around. Victoria was also fourth all-around at Regionals. She won the level nine western championships! Victoria also won bars and beam besides the all-around crown. She retired after struggling with injuries.
