Megan Verceles Carr was born on July 5, 1999. She trains at West Valley Gymnastics School. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2007, Megan competed level four. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Judges Cup. She won floor and the all-around at the Stars Challenge. At the Disco-Tech Invitational, Megan won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She did not compete in the all-around at the State Championships. In 2008, Megan competed level five. She finished first all-around at the Flower Power meet and Judges Cup. Megan placed first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Aloha Invitational. She finished second all-around at the Zone Championships. At the State Championships, Megan won vault and floor. She finished second all-around.

Megan competed one level six meet in 2009, winning beam, floor and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. Megan made her second National TOPs "B" Team later that year. In 2010, she competed level seven. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Aloha Gymfest. Megan placed first in the all-around at the Wine Country Classic, Classic Rock Invitational and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She finished second all-around at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, Megan won vault and floor. She finished second all-around. She made the National TOPs Team that fall. Megan moved up to level eight in 2011. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the WOGA Classic.
