Lily Waldman was born on April 25, 1998. She trains at Capital Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2005, Lily competed level four. She competed at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2006. She competed at the State Championships. In 2007, Lily won floor at the State Championships. She placed second all-around. Lily competed level six in 2008. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2009. She finished first on floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Excalibur Cup, she won vault and floor. At the Capital Cup, she placed first on beam, floor and the all-around. At the State Championships, Lily won beam, floor and the all-around.

Lily competed level eight in 2010 despite health issues which kept her out of the gym for a good part of the year. She finished first on beam, second on floor, and third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on floor. Lily continued to struggle with health issues in 2011, which limited her to one level nine meet in 2011. She finished second on floor at the Gliders Invitational. She competed level nine in 2012. She finished first onv ault and second all-around at the World Class Invitational. She placed first on floor at the Capital Cup. Lily placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She finished first on floor at Regionals. She also placed fourth on beam and the all-around. At Easterns, she placed second on floor, third on beam and sixth all-around.
