Haley Watts was born on September 10, 1993. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2000, Haley competed level four with Central Carolina. She finished first on bars at the Fll Frolic Invitaitonal. She placed fourth all-around. She moved up to level five in 2001. In 2003, Haley competed level seven. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. Haley moved up to level eight in 2004, with Tumblebees. She finished fourth on vault at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She placed third all-around at the Carolina Classic.

Haley began competing level nine in 2005. She finished first on vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won the all-around at the Salem Invitational. She finished in the top ten at both the State and Regional Championships. She ended her season at Easterns. She continued competing level nine in 2006. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Twin City Classic. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Haley competed at Regionals.

She moved up to level ten in 2007 with High Point Gymnastics. She won the all-around at the Excalibur Cup. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault, second on beam and third all-around. Haley finished fourth on floor at Regionals. She moved to Southeastern Gymnastics before the 2008 season. She finished second on floor at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. Haley placed third all-around at the State Championships, where she won floor. At Regionals, she won floor and finished fourth all-around. Haley placed fourth on vault and tenth all-around at JO Nationals.

In 2009, Haley won bars, floor and the all-around at the Flip Fest Invitational. She won vault and beam at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the WOGA Classic. Haley won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault and the all-around. Haley won floor and the all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished tenth all-around. She also placed in the top ten on floor and bars.

She had a strong season in 2010. She swept the gold medals at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. Haley won bars, floor and the all-around at the Sweetheart meet. She placed second at the State Championships. She finished second all-around and first on beam at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished third on beam and fifth all-around.
