Whitney Briggs was born on February 22, 1995. She trains at LaFleur's Academy of Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2005, Whitney competed level six. She finished third on vault and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed level seven in 2007. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2008, Whitey competed level eight. She placed in the top twenty at the State Championships. In 2009, she placed second on floor at the Daytona Beach Open. She began competing level nine in 2010. She finished second on floor at the Midwest Challenge. She placed in the top ten all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Circle of Stars meet, she finished fourth all-around. She placed second on floor and the all-around at the Harley Davidson Invite. At the OGC Optional Invitational, she placed second on vault. She finished second on floor at the State Championships. Whitney finished tenth all-around at Regionals.
Whitney continued competing level nine in 2011. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed third on beam at the Harley Davidson Invite. She placed second all-around at the Tim Rand Invitational. At the State Championships, Whitney won bars and the all-around. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. Whitney competed at Westerns.
