Kayla Weber was born on March 31, 1994. She trained at Euro Stars Gymnastics in 2004. She then trained at Gym America until the spring of 2007. She then moved to Michigan Elite Gymnastics Academy (MEGA). Kayla began training at Olympia Gymnastics Academy in the fall of 2010. Kayla will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2004, Kayla competed level six. She won beam at the Buckeye Classic. She finished second all-around. She placed fourth on beam and floor at the IGI Chicago Style. In 2007, Kayla competed level eight. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the National Judges Cup. At the Tulip City Invitational, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Kayla placed second all-around at the Buckeye Classic and Motown Madness meet. She moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she won the all-around title. Kayla ended her season at Easterns, where she won the all-around title! She finished second on beam and first on floor.

Kayla moved up to level ten in 2009. She finished third all-around at the Motown Madness meet. She finished third on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, Kayla placed in the top fifteen. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she placed sixth all-around. She finished fourth on vault and fifth on bars. In 2010, she placed tenth all-around at the State Championships. She ended her season at Regionals. In 2011, Kayla finished first on beam and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed second on vault at the Motown Madness meet. Kayla finished eleventh all-around at the State Championships. She competed on bars and beam at Regionals, placing fourth on the latter.
