Alexandra Wente was born on August 4, 1994. She trained at Classic Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then moved to North Shore Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2005, Alexandra competed level six. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Shamrock Invitational. She competed level eight in 2006. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Salto National Invitational. She won floor at the State Championships. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the 2007 State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam and the all-around. Alexandra moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished second on floor at the Bravo Classic. In 2009, she finished second on floor at the Gopher Invite. She finished first on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. Alexandra won beam and floor at the Northern Lights Classic. At the Heart of a Champion Invitational, she won vault. She won floor and placed second all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. At Regionals, she won beam and floor. She finished seventh all-around.

Alexandra did not compete in 2010. She competed level ten in 2011. She won beam and floor at the Wisconsin Dells Vacation Classic. She competed on two events at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on beam, her only event.
