Morgan White was born on June 27, 1983 in West Bend, WI. She began gymnastics in 1988. Morgan is the daughter of Ron and Debbie. She has two older brothers, Dustin and Dylan. Morgan started to show potential after making the TOPS National Team in 1993 and 1994.

In 1994, Morgan qualified to the JO National Championships. She again qualified to this competition in 1995. This time she placed ninth all-around and seventh on beam. In 1996, she moved up to the junior international elite level. At the US Classic, her first elite meet, she finished 18th all-around and qualified to her first US National Championships. Her first US National Championships were to be held in Knoxville, Tenn. Morgan had a rough time but finished 23rd all-around

Morgan made a big change in 1996. She switched gyms from American Twisters in Florida to Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy in Ohio. The switched helped her as she placed sixth all-around at the American Classic in 1997. She also won bars. At the national-championships Morgan placed 12th all-around and made her first US National Team.

Being on the national team earned her two international assignments for 1997. The first one was International Gym Challenge in Belgium. She finished fourth all-around and won the uneven bars. Her next meet was the Pan Am Games. She helped the team finished second. On the individual side, she finished fifth all-around and second on bars.

1998 would be her final year as a junior. Her competition season started off at the American Classic. She placed fifth all-around and won bars for the second year in a row. Next on her agenda was the 1998 Jr. Pan Am Games. She led the team to a first place finish. Her individual performances were excellent. She came home with a silver in the all-around and beam and a gold on bars.

Next up was the International Team Championships. The USA team finished second. Morgan did not have her best performance but did win a silver on bars. To tune up for the US National Championships, Morgan competed at the US Classic. She won the all-around and bars. She also finished second on beam and floor. Her final meet of the 1998 season was the US National Championships. Morgan's first day went decent but her final performance was excellent. Morgan won bars and floor. She also took second on beam. To top it all off, she became the US National All-Around Champion.

Her first meet as a senior international elite was the American Classic. She finished seventh all-around and second on floor. Her next meet was the American Cup Prelims. She again finished seventh all-around. Morgan then traveled to China for a dual meet. She helped the US team finish first. Her next meet was the Pan Am Games. The USA team finished a disappointing second. The high point of the meet was when Morgan won the all-around title.

Morgan traveled to California to compete at the US Championships. She did well enough to finish seventh all-around and qualify for the World Team Trials. She finished fifth all-around at the World Team Trials but did not make the team. After Jennie Thompson became injured Morgan became the alternate. Alyssa Beckerman also had an injury and pulled out. Morgan then found herself competing at the World Championships. At Worlds, she helped the team finish sixth.

The Olympic Year was 2000. Her first meet of the 2000 season was the RCA Gymnastics Challenge. She finished fourth all-around. At the American Cup Finals Morgan placed second all-around. Morgan traveled to New Zealand for the Pacific Alliance Championships. She finished third all-around and helped the team finish first. To qualify for the US National Championships Morgan needed to compete at the US Classic. At the US Classic she finished second all-around and won beam.

After a rough first vault at the USA Championships Morgan came back to finished seventh all-around. She jumped to fourth at the Olympic Trials and made the US Olympic Team. However, a broken foot kept Morgan from competing. Morgan competed at the US National Championships in 2001 on beam. She fell both days. In 2002 Morgan decided to retire from competitive gymnastics due to nagging injuries.
