Jade Wiggins was born on January 15, 1993. Jade trained at Orlando Metro Gymnastics during her club career. She began attending the University of Florida for the spring 2011 semester.

In 2005, Jade competed level eight. She finished second all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished first on bars at the Pikes Peak Cup. She placed first on bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed third on beam and in the all-around. Jade moved up to level ten in 2007. She finished second all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed tenth on beam and 19th all-around.

Jade continued competing level ten in 2008. She won beam at the IGI Chicago Style and Hard Rock Invitational. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the City of Lights Invitational. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Jade won beam, floor and the all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. Jade missed the 2009 season due to injury. In 2010, she won bars, beam and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed first on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She won the all-around title at the City of Lights Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. She competed at Regionals.

As a freshman at Florida in 2011, she competed on floor at West Virginia. She also performed exhibitions on bars and beam.
