Nicole Wild was born on February 25, 1997. She trained at Camden Gymnastics through the 2006 season. She then moved to Southeastern Gymnastics Center in North Carolina. She will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2005, Nicole competed level five. She won all five gold medals at the Islands YMCA meet. She moved up to level six in 2007. She won beam at the Everest Cup. She placed first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Nicole competed level seven in 2009. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Flip Fest Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. She finished first on vault, beam and the all-around at the Charleston Cup. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she placed second all-around. Nicole finished second all-around at the State Championships. At the Region 8 Invitational, she won bars and the all-around.
Nicole competed level eight in 2010. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished first on vault, bars and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. Nicole won all five gold medals at the Sweetheart meet. At the Charleston Cup, she won vault and the all-around. At the State Championships, she won all five gold medals. Nicole finished her undefeated season by winning bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. Nicole moved up to level nine in 2011. She won bars at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. At the Sweetheart Invite, she won bars and beam. Nicole won bars, floor and the all-around at the Charleston Cup. She won bars and the all-around at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed first on bars and floor. She finished third all-around. Nicole won bars and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed second on bars, sixth on floor and sixth all-around.
Nicole moved to Level 10 for the 2011-2012 season. She finished first all-around at The Gala, fourth all-around at the Charleston Cup and fifth all-around at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships she finished third on uneven bars and balance beam and tied for fifth in the all-around. She qualified to the Level 10 Region 8 Championships where she finished seventh on uneven bars and balance beam. Her eleventh place all-around finish earned her a spot in the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament. At the JO NIT, Nicole finished second in the all-around, winning gold on uneven bars and finishing fifth on balance beam.
