Davi Wilson was born in Los Angeles, California on July 30, 1991. She began gymnastics at the age of three. She competed for Gymnastics Olympica while in California. She won the vault title at the Level Five State Championships. In 2001, she moved to New Jersey. She joined North Star Gymnastics before switching to Rebound. In 2004, Davi began competing for Parkettes.

In 2003, she competed as a level eight and TOPS elite. She finished first at the level eight state championships. Davi finished her level eight season at regionals. As a tops elite, she finished first at the American Challenge. She also competed at the US Challenge. In 2004, Davi competed as a level ten. She qualified to Regionals. Davi was only able to compete at a few meets in 2005. She suffered a arm injury.

Davi did well as a level ten in 2006. At Regionals, she finished second all-around and first on both vault and floor. At JO Nationals, Davi placed in the top ten on vault. Unfortunately, she had a few falls on beam. In July, Davi qualified to junior international elite. She was not able to compete at the US Classic due to being sick. Davi decided to leave the sport. She participated in pole vaulting for her high school and was very successful.
