Amber Wobma was born on August 4, 1993. She trains at Gedderts' Twistars. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2004, Amber competed level six. She won beam at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She won the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She then moved up to level eight. Amber won vault, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals, finishing third on bars and fifth all-around. In 2007, Amber continued competing level eight. She won vault and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Motown Madness meet, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Amber competed a few level eight meets in 2008. She won the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She finished first on vault and floor at the For Love or Money meet.
Amber spent the rest of the season as a level nine. She finished second all-around at both the Motown Madness meet and State Championships. At Regionals, she won the all-around title! Amber finished second on beam, floor and the all-around at Easterns. She continued competing levle nine in 2009. She won vault and beam at the Battle of the Champions. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won vault and floor. She then moved up to level ten. She won vault and floor at the Motown Madness meet. In 2010, Amber won beam, floor and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She won beam at the Battle of the Champions and vault at the San Diego Classic. Amber won the all-around at the For Love or Money meet. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault. Amber finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She finished third on beam and floor. At JO Nationals, she placed in the top ten on vault and beam. She finished 19th all-around.
