Caroline "Carly" Woodard was born on January 5, 1999. She currently trains at Diamond Gymnastics Academy in Overland Park, Kansas where she first began participating in pre-team gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In the 2009 season, Carly competed level five. In the seven meets prior to State, Carly won all-around at six of them. Later, at the 2009 Kansas State Championships, she placed second all-around. She won vault and bars.

Carly moved up to level six in 2010. In the seven meets prior to State, Carly again won the all-around title in six of them including the Pink Ribbon Invitational and the Folgers Invitational. At the Kansas State Championships, Carly won the all-around title.

Carly began competing level seven in the 2011 season. She did more travelling that season and won beam and the all-around at the National Judges Cup State Team Challenge meet. She also had excellent results at the Excalibur Cup: first on floor and all-around. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she finished first on bars, beam, vault and all-around. Carly finished first all-around at the Kansas State Championships that season.

Level 8, during the 2012 competitive season, brought more travel and strong performances. In the six meets prior to State, Carly placed first in the all-around in four of them including IGI’s Chicago Style and Chow’s Winter Invitational. At the 2012 Kansas State Championships, she captured second place all-around and also qualified for Region 3’s Regional Championship meet. Carly also made the Region 3 Super 8 Team that will compete in the Level 8 National Team Challenge in May of 2012.

Carly is competing level nine for the 2013 meet season.
