Ella Wu will graduate from high school in 2014. She trained at MarVaTeens through February of 2009. She then moved to Hill's Gymnastics.
In 2003, Ella competed level four. She competed at the State Championships. She competed as a level five in 2004. In 2006, she competed level seven. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She finished first on bars and second all-around at the State Championships. She began competing level nine in 2008. She finished second all-around at the San Diego Classic. She qualified to Regionals. She placed first on floor at the Star Struck Invitational in 2009. She finished in the top ten at the State and Regional Championships.
Ella continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished first all-around at the Maryland Classic and Pink Invitational. At the Tim Rand Invitational, she won beam, floor and the all-around. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She finished second all-around at Regionals. She placed fifth on bars at Easterns. Ella began competing level ten in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Midwest Open. She finished third on floor at the State Championships. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. Ella finished in the top fifteen at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
