Kendall Danae Zdvorak was born in San Diego, California on June 11, 1986. She is ther daughter of Ed Zdvorak and Ruth Connolly. She has two sisters and one brother. She graduated from Temecula Valley High School. During her club career, she trained at SCEGA.

In 2003, Kendall competed as a level eight gymnast. She won the Winter Sun meet. At Regionals, she won the all-around and floor titles. In 2004, Kendall moved up to level nine. She finished third all-around at Regionals. She won vault. She continued competing as a level nine in 2005. Kendall won the Friendship Challenge and California Classic. At States, she won everything except for floor. Kendall won a bronze medal on vault at Regionals. She finished her JO career by winning a silver medal on vault at Westerns.

During her freshman season, Kendall competed on vault. She did not compete any other year in college.
